Pannal Ash has a long playing history, so we have tried to break the records down into easier to follow periods.
The Early Years - when there wasn't competitive cricket and clubs arranged their own fixture lists.
The Memoirs of a Secretary - written by Mr R H Ward dated January 1933. We have transcribed verbatim his actual words and thoughts (including replicating his underlinings, notes in margins and punctuation) which tell the history of the club through the early years, the First World War and ending with the historic first winning of the Harrogate and District League.
The Harrogate and District League - started in 1920 and we were founder members.
The Nidderdale and District Amateur Cricket League - was where the Ash moved to once the Harrogate and District League folded in 1959.
The Harrogate Evening Cricket League - where we play competitive mid-week cricket.
Pannal Ash Village - first hand notes of a village historian, relating the origins of our original grounds within the village itself.
