2009 Annual Golf Day - Oakdale Golf Club
Winner: Martin Turner
On Thursday 26th March we held our pre-season golf day at Oakdale Golf Club in Harrogate, the conditions being very windy and very cold, so congratulations must go to everyone for putting in such a good performance.
The winner on the day was Martin Tuner on 38 points from James Burke on 36 and his dad, Tony Burke, on 34 points.
After the golf we retired to bar in the club house and the highlight of the rest of the evening was the sight of Richard Turner and Mark Taylor who had tears streaming down their eyes from the chillies which were on their spicey pizza.
This was a great start to the 2009 season, let's just hope that the weather warms up slightly and the wind drops.
