***** FORTHCOMING FIXTURES ***** - We are trying to re-arrange the games which were postponed in June due to the weather.
The remaining fixtures so far are as follows:
Monday 7 th July against Killinghall at home
Tuesday 8th July against Galphay at home
Sunday 13th July against Ouseburn away (6.30 pm start)
Tuesday 15th July against Bishop Thornton away
The outstanding games against Studley Royal and Pannal 'A' - we will advise you all as soon as we have confirmed dates.

***** COACHING ***** - We have been asked to put a link to Pro Cricket Coaching Academy which is run by Chris Taylor and Andrew Gale of Yorkshire CCC who provide expert coaching to junior cricketers.
The website highlights dates of courses, and also access to equipment as well as other cricket related items.
We hope to be able to get some of their coaches over to do a session with our juniors, perhaps followed by a Q&A session on the life of a professional cricketer.

***** CANCELLED MATCH ***** - Unfortunately Pateley Bridge under 13's have withdrawn from the Junior League due to lack of players.
As a consequence there will be no Junior game this week (Tuesday 27th May).
Training as usual on Saturday with stand-in coach Rob Clarke.
Meet at Bluecote for 9.00 am.

****** FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON ***** - We play our first game in the U-13 leaguse against our fiends at Birstwith CC on Thursday 8th May.
The game will be played at Hampsthwaite CC with a 6.30 pm start - meet at the ground by 6.15 pm PLEASE.

***** PRACTICE SESSIONS ***** - Remember, now the season has started, practice sessions are held on a Saturday morning from 9 am to 10 am at the cricket ground at Bluecote Wood.

***** NETS ***** - There will be Junior and Senior nets on Sunday 6th April.
Same time, same place - 3 pm till 4 pm at Ashville Sports Hall.
There are only 2 sessions left before the Seniors begin their season at Crakehall on 19th April and the Juniors progress to training outside at Bluecote on Saturday mornings (weather permitting) - see your Junior Handbook for full details.

***** JUNIOR CLOTHING ***** - Just arrived from our kit manufacturer - a sample cap and polo shirt incorporating the Junior logo.
They will be available to view at nets on Sunday 9th April. Photos of the shirt and cap will be available to view on the website very shortly.
Remember, as a team member you get your cap free - the polo shirts are only £10 each.

***** NETS ***** - Nets have now begun at Ashville Sports Hall on a Sunday from 3 - 4 pm.
Boys and girls aged between 10 and 14 are welcome.

***** ADVERTISING ***** - As well as regular appearances in the Harrogate Advertiser, we have been on the front page of the website Cricket 4 Kids which is a specialist site aimed at attracting young people to the game.
We will be undertaking a series of mailshots to local schools as we look to attract new players to the section.
