New for 2009 in junior cricket will be U-13 and U-11 (pairs) teams in the local league.

At this age group, we are joined by Beckwithshaw (2 teams), Bishop Thornton, Bilton, Birstwith, Follifoot, Galphay and Winksley, Goldsborough, Harrogate (2 teams), Helperby, Killinghall, Knaresborough, Bishop Monkton/Markington, Newby Hall, Ouseburn (2 teams), Pannal (3 teams), Pateley Bridge and Studley Royal (2 teams).

As in previous years, the fixtures will be split into a north group and a south group, with Pannal Ash being allocated to the north group, we know we're in for a great summer!!

More work has been done over the winter organising our club in line with the Clubmark Accreditation, including putting coaches through the new UKCC qualification and attending First Aid for Sport and Child Protection and Safety courses.

Our coaches are all CRB checked.
